Location: Home Office (Preferred Locations Cincinnati or Columbus Ohio areas).

Reports To: Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Role Requirements: The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for direct sales efforts in the assigned territory. Identifying new opportunities, developing new accounts and maintaining existing customer relationships is the primary objective and responsibility of this remote sales position. Regional travel is anticipated to be approximately 50% depending upon opportunities and customer requirement.

Specific Job Functions: 

  • Develop and capture new business by targeting prospects and key accounts that builds upon existing Dynamic Tube account profiles as well as by establishing accounts which diversify markets and customer types in a manner aligned with DTI strategic planning.
  • Manage and continually grow established territory accounts and customer relationships.  This requires the ability and willingness to travel in the assigned region on a regular basis.
  • Meet customer and prospect needs in cooperation with DTI inside sales, operations and various support staff. Share customer information and needed specification as needed.
  • Maintain a cooperative loop of communication between DTI staff and customers/prospects to ensure successful performance and outcome.
  • To successfully prospect for new opportunities whilst servicing existing accounts, fully understand DTI’s areas of specialization, capabilities and competitive landscape.
  • Meet and /or exceed agreed upon goals and objectives in timely and regular fashion.
  • Develop regional sales plans to achieve company objectives and communicate progress to such objectives in monthly reports submitted to the VP, Sales and Marketing.
  • Generate profitable regional revenue growth through new and existing customers and markets spaces. Look to increase customer diversification to create a wider path to sales.

Education, Experience and Interpersonal Requirement:

  • A four year technical degree or equivalent experience in a sales/sales engineering role.
  • Previous experience in a sales and/or engineering role serving manufacturers of the markets and industries now served by Dynamic Tube such as; Heavy Construction OEM’s, Engine Manufactures, Agricultural OEM’s, Marine, Off Road and Specialty Equipment Manufacturers, Mining OEM’s, Material Handling, Railroad OEM’s, Etc.
  • A self-starter who is focused, organized with a strong work ethic.
  • The ability to establish and maintain solid and productive relationships.
  • Maintain a sense of urgency commitment to follow through as needed to positive result.
  • A team player approach to getting the job done.

Plans, coordinates, and directs quality control program designated to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties personally or through others.

General Responsibilities:

  1. Direct and manage the activities of the engineering department.
  2. Provides training, technical assistance and support to other departments.
  3. Provides overall ISO9001 focus to the plant.
  4. Establish and implement engineering work instructions and documentation as defined by ISO9001, company policy, and procedure
  5. Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
  6. Determine, design and procure tooling/fixtures for production.
  7. Interprets quality control philosophy to key personnel in organization.
  8. Research, develop, and improve existing manufacturing processes as well as investigating alternative processes.
  9. Implement cost reduction programs.

Develop and perform inspections of fabricated tube assemblies using precision measuring equipment which includes CMM’s. Create reports of inspection results and submit results to customers.  Maintain our ISO9001 Quality Management System.


General Responsibilities:

  1. Reading and interpretation of blueprints and specifications.
  2. Inspection of production and first articles, using surface plates, coordinate measuring machines, calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, and any other precision measuring devices, instruments and equipment.
  3. Creation and submission of inspection data in accordance with customer requirements.
  4. Assist in supporting and maintaining compliance to ISO9001 Quality Management System.
  5. Maintain quality records and files.
  6. Participate in Quality Audits and surveillances


General Duties:

  1. Directs workers engaged in inspection and testing activities.
  2. Works with vendors to insure quality of all purchased parts for company use.
  3. Implements quality control training programs to key personnel.
  4. Investigates and adjusts customer complaints regarding quality.

Develop procedures and provide guidance in the production of fabricated tube weldments and assemblies. Manages a welding training program in compliance with customer requirements industry standards and serves as a management resource interpreting weld and fab requirements in support of new business capture and production processes.

General Responsibilities:

  1. Interprets technical requirements for weld and braze, monitors, and supports related production and business capture activities.
  2. Provides training, technical, assistance and support to other departments regarding weld braze and related fab.
  3. Establish and implement engineering work instructions and documentation per ISO9001, company policy, and document procedures for related weld and fab.
  4. Current working knowledge of industry standards and compliance programs.
  5. Design and develop tooling/fixtures for weld and braze production.
  6. Research, develop, and improve existing manufacturing processes as well as investigating alternative processes.
  7. Recommend and implement cost reduction programs.

General Duties:

  1. Implementation and maintenance of weld program in compliance with AWS and customers specifications.
  2. Provide technical support for production, customer inquiries, quotation, and new business capture.
  3. Establishes equipment performance specifications, action plans, work instructions, weld procedures, test procedures, and other documentation to support factory operations.
  4. Improves existing processes to increase safety, quality, productivity, product flow and reliability through innovative solutions.
  5. Recommends and justifies equipment purchases and oversees installation and monitors use.
